Before joining I would occasionally go to the gym but would get bored of the work outs and my weight had sky rocketed so I had became very self conscious and hated my body. "Waking up one day realising the BIG 50 was looming and that I wanted to hit the beach in Costa Rica in a skimpy bikini on the big day, I decided that PT was the only way forward for me. Having seen Luke’s profile on the social media together with impact the he had on a few of the members I knew, I drummed up the courage to book my trial session and knew straight away after it that Luke knew his stuff and how he wouldmanage the programme to my individual needs including the dietary intake to help me achieve my goal. I have been training for 7 months now and my whole attitude towards exercise and more importantly my shape has changed. I've lost 7 kilos and to my husband’s disappointment now have a whole wardrobe of clothes that no longer fit me. My friends are constantly commenting as my body shape has completely changed. "My personal journey with weight loss has spanned over the last 10 years. I have gone about it in several ways. Each time I feel like it helps for awhile then life takes over and am back to square one. Infact, although I do not go on any diets, I still ended up slowly increasing my weight due to menopausal and fighting a small mental battle of depression. Metobolism is slow thus eating the wrong kind of food does not help. Although my PT does not agree about metabolism 🙈. Anyways, since joining the T2FIT has made a huge difference in my life. Luke (PT) knows about the personal training in more depth than anyone I have met so far. He does the exercises himself and is therefore able to target the correct combination of exercises for the various muscle groups. My challenge is too loose weight and build strength in my body for various walking/hiking challenges I have been working towards. Initially, Luke made an assessment of my ability to train. Slowly, he made adjustments to build gradual strength. Looking at food diary and adjusting it slowly was also a great help. Within a few weeks, my strength and energy levels improved greatly. Targeting all the different muscle groups, but also correcting my posture has been the biggest change so far. This and loosing a few kgs in weight ultimately has helped with this year's hiking challenge (4 days covering over 96 miles). I have lost 8 kgs so far (1 + stone) However, the massive change has been about toning up and losing inches all over my body. Namely, the biggest change has been around my middle section. Still wanting to lose another 1 + stones. It is going to be harder as bad eating habits come back in full force sometimes. Luke does not actually focus on loosing weight too much, but he ensures the workouts are strong for the individual. The rest is up to me, but he does know when I have not been eating properly!"
"15 months ago, I was feeling unhealthy, out of breath and not happy in my own body. Diet starts tomorrow was not happening. With a summer beach holiday fast approaching, I decided to contact Luke hoping he could help me put in place a 3-month fitness plan. I started training at T2Fit attending group sessions as well as 1-1 PT sessions. Having never been a member of a gym, I was quite apprehensive, but instantly built up a good rapport with Luke, and other members of the team were very welcoming. I quickly came to learn that sessions are always tough but amazingly satisfying once complete #getitdone Luke is on point with his guidance on exercise, nutrition, sleep and staying hydrated. He helped me to incorporate much of this into my routine and to fit into my family’s lifestyle. Within 10 weeks of making these changes, my weight dropped by 4.5kg and 11.5cm on my waist.
